Today North Carolina FC took on Columbus Crew MLS Next Pro today in a preseason match at WakeMed Soccer Park Field 5. This was the third preseason match of the season and the first open to the media and the public.
Despite a tough loss to the visiting team from Columbus amongst scattered rain showers, it is clear that this team is really coming together. It was also my first look at a number of players including Oalex Anderson, Haroun Conteh, and Will Pulisic a keeper on loan from Austin FC just announced today 30 minutes before kickoff.
